Summer Bishil (born June 15, 1985) is an American actress best known for playing Margo as Margo in The Magicians, a Syfy show that ran through 2015. For the Alan Ball movie Towelhead, she portrayed 13-year old Lebanese American actress Jasira experiencing a turbulent life as the U.S. invade Iraq during the Gulf War. Following that, she was named one of Variety's Top Ten Actors to Be Watching. The 2009 film Crossing Over, in which she portrayed a strong female character in the lead role named Taslima Jhangir, was nominated by the Independent Spirit Award as the most outstanding actress. She also acted as co-lead as well as guest on Lucky 7 and other films like"Mooz-lum" The Last Airbender Pop Star.
